The SW Instructors Co-operative would like to wish their colleague and fellow instructor, a safe and enjoyable trip.  He will leave Cornwall on 7th February 2010 (all things being equal) to cycle 29,000km around the world.  This hopefully will include for the first time of anyone circumnavigating the world on a bike, Africa and South America .. With his permission, there will be updates from him on his trip, published below - meanwhile to see his proposed route, click here. To find out more about the story behind his endeavours click here .. (These will open in a new window)

Headliner updates will appear here as they come in, with a link to the full story ...

Then in July, Wendy will be joining 299 others to cycle from Brussels to Greenwich - 300 miles in 3 days through 3 countries.  As a mature student she has also applied to become a Student Ambassador for the Right to Play given how she believes in making a difference and believes in the power of sport to help the most disadvantaged children in the world.  Formerly Olympic Aid, Right To Play is one of the largest children and youth focused charities in the world. At Right To Play we believe that sport and play can offer children and youths better physical, social and emotional health.  Sport and play allow for young people to express themselves in a safe and supportive environment where they can develop to their full potential.  Furthermore, the natural convening power of sport serves to unite communities and reduce social tensions.  To donate just click on the 'Right to Play' logo >>
